What motivated you to start Mama’s Box?
With my babies being barely a year apart, it was hard for me to figure out what items I needed at every stage of my pregnancy.
When I had a bit of free time, I was always trying to look for new products and as it progressed, I wished that someone would just hand me all the things I really needed throughout my journey.
Although the concept of subscription boxes for mothers did exist in Europe and in the USA, however, it was something totally unique in the gulf. So, I thought of Mama’s box as a monthly surprise and discovery gift from a tiny baby to “mommy” to put a smile on every mama’s face, make her journey a bit easier and remind her of how blessed she really is!
What challenges have you faced along the way as a mompreneur?
Being an entrepreneur is a full-time job, being a mother is also a full-time job. Finding the balance between the two is very difficult. However somehow, I feel that one helps me be better at the other.
How do you manage motherhood and business?
Sometimes I had to be dedicated to my business on busy days to meet orders or deadlines and on other days I gave my kids my full and undivided attention. That’s how I try and balance my time!
What makes Mama’s Box unique?

What is your favorite pregnancy item?

Any advice you give for moms who want to open their own business?
If you can’t wait to make your vision come to life if you are passionate about it and it makes your heart skip a beat, then just go for it!

What is your favorite family hangout in Dubai?
We love to spend the day at kite beach, we really enjoy swimming with the kids and having lunch or catching a movie.
