What motivated you to start your business?
When I was 7 years old, my parents used to take me to arts and crafts, drawing and pottery workshops. When I got older and started to paint, I found a world of my own! so after my first son was born, deep inside I felt a need to create something, to do something that allows me to achieve some of my goals, gain self-confidence and have my own social circle.
This is every new mother’s dilemma! when she is torn between the guilt of being by her babies side 24/7 or pursuing her own goals until she realizes that with a bit of planning she can do both!
How did you come up with the idea?
The idea started with simple birthday setups. Then I decided to focus on Arts and Crafts. I like to see the look on kids faces after finishing their masterpiece and how happy they seem with the result! That’s why I am always on the ground with the team 🙂
Creating something of their own helps them be confident and speak their minds and think out of the box. I want to offer them this “gift”
So our slogan came to be “ Unleash your imagination” not only for kids but most importantly for parents who respect their kids’ interests, motivate them and encourage them to achieve their goals.
What inspires you?
My mother inspires me always, her strength, passion and her insistence to achieve her goals not only in her career but also on raising us to be who we are now!
My hubby and kids inspire me with fun activities. I get inspired by watching them spend quality time together and try to come up with engaging concepts for families to enjoy on a daily basis. You can say ideas are born in our home only to make their way to yours 🙂

How do you keep kids engaged for a long time?
Crafty Station is not only a business it’s another family member, one of my babies! Selim and I love to create together! He is so into crafts reviews, toy reviews and we get ideas from here and there and try them out ourselves at home. Every night we have an hour of quality time where we bond together and test one of these new ideas. and I like to observe how easy and safe it is for other kids to replicate it, and based on this, I add to it …to make it more entertaining and fun. Every night before bedtime he wonders what are we going to “Misk” that’s what he calls mixing things together 🙂
What challenges have you faced?
Being a Momrepreneur isn’t an easy job, finding the balance between working in the entertainment industry which requires extra working hours, working over the weekends, occasions etc. and spending quality fun time with my family was the most challenge I have faced during these 3 years.
What advice do you give moms looking to go into a business similar to yours?
Having kids is never an obstacle to start your own business but an inspiration by all means and remember you are their role model they will always look up to you with a smile thinking deep inside “Mommy is a Superhero”!
How do you manage your time between Motherhood and a full-time business?
It might seem less professional to many people, but I take my kids to meetings, events, and even material shopping. My kids take a big part of my life inside the house and at work, they bring joy and positivity with them wherever they go.
Best advice on Motherhood you’ve ever received?
Don’t raise your kids the way others think you should, raise them to be the kind of people you want to see in the world.
Best family hangout?
We love being outdoors! The beach when the weather is good is a perfect outing for a well-spent family day
